When you call to inquire about our programs, we will schedule an initial assessment with a licensed therapist at a time convenient for you. The assessment will determine which program is the best fit for you.
However, please consider the following factors that may indicate which program is best for your specific situation:
Mild to moderate substance abuse
Smart IOP is a self-study program offering regular therapy on the patient’s schedule. The acronym, IOP, stands for Intensive Outpatient Program, an industry standard term used to describe mental health treatment programs that provide a defined standard of care and patient benefit. In our Smart IOP, You participate in the program on your own and meet one-on-one with your therapist and case manager periodically to monitor your progress. The program is designed for mild to moderate substance abuse problems and is extremely flexible with individual schedules. Though we intend for patients to complete Smart IOP in 6-12 weeks, you decide when to finish each session. If your schedule is unpredictable or you have rotating shifts this program is for you!
Moderate to severe substance abuse
We designed Remote IOP more for moderate or severe drug use and can include mental health treatment that may accompany your substance abuse therapy. Remote IOP requires that patients regularly attend scheduled groups that meet online 4 days a week for 3 hours per day. Our clinical staff facilitates and guides all group therapy sessions. In online group meetings, video teleconferencing enables you to you see and interact with other group members. This program is heavily group-focused, and you will enjoy a sense of community with your fellow group members. You will also benefit from a weekly one-on-one counseling session with a Summit Hill therapist. If you enjoy in-person connections and thrive in group meetings, this program is for you. Day and night groups are available and this program is designed to attend while you continue working.
Uncontrolled daily substance abuse
This program provides therapy 5 days a week for 5 hours a day. If you cannot control your substance use problem and you need daily support, this is the program for you! Each day consists of 3 hours of therapist-facilitated group counseling and 2 additional hours of individual one-on-one therapy or other treatment activities. The traditional PHP schedule involves a cohesive 5 hour block, but we do offer an alternative schedule that allows you to do your 2 additional hours during the day and attend online night groups from 6-9pm to allow some time in between.
